Job Description
Responsible for supporting the Senior Engineer in ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with SEHA safety and management standards, policies and procedures, statutory and contractual requirements.
Responsibilities Planning and designing of all electrical works
Designing and producing drawings of electrical systems, using computer-assisted design (CAD) (if required)
Deciding on the type and arrangement of circuits, circuit-breakers and equipment based on calculations
Preparing and interpreting specifications, drawings and regulations for the use of electric power equipment
Working out delivery and installation schedules for machines, cables and fittings
Ensuring construction plans and specifications and drawing up contracts
Managing day to day activities of the department
Supervising and following up all activities related to electrical works before, during and after the execution of the projects
Ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with the contract drawings, specification, instructions and programmers
Planning, arranging and controlling of material compliance testing/evaluation and maintain records
Planning, arranging and recording inspection and test activities for materials and workmanship
Identifying, raising, resolving and recording technical queries and items of extended scope of works
Testing and commissioning of equipment as per manufacturer requirement
Ensuring documentation for the department
Planning, co-coordinating and preparing construction programmers as required
Preparing material ‘take-offs’, price comparisons and order materials as required
Managing and maintaining document control systems for construction and maintenance information
Assisting in the planning and preparation of permits to work and task risk assessments
Preparing method statements as required
Preparing project status reports, as necessary

Communicating and consulting with other healthcare disciplines
Reporting to the Senior Engineer Electrical section about all electricall works
Communicating and coordinating

Attending interdisciplinary meetings to provide technical support and advice
Participating in joint meetings with members of the Health Authority Engineering Directorate
Participating in the development, communication and evaluation of standards, procedures and protocols
Contributing to team effort
Participating in cross-functional teams and committees as appropriate
Developing and enhancing team procedure manual and processes and discussed
with seniors
Managing his/her subordinates and ensuring team development and complaint resolution, setting KPI’s for direct reports and conducting performance appraisal and driving motivation levels of direct reports
Qualifications Qualification :-
Special Certificate:-
Required 2-4 years of relevant experience in a similar industry
Desired Experience in a large healthcare facility
