Role Description
The District Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, responsible for leading and developing a team of medical and pharmaceutical sales representatives within a defined territory. This role involves setting sales targets, planning and executing territory strategies, and monitoring performance to achieve revenue and growth objectives. The District Sales Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, pharmacies, and key accounts, ensuring effective promotion and positioning of Pescado Pharmaceuticals’ products. Day-to-day tasks include coaching and mentoring team members, conducting field visits, analyzing market data and competitor activities, preparing sales reports, and collaborating with marketing and medical teams to support product launches and promotional campaigns. The role also requires adherence to all regulatory and ethical standards while representing the company in meetings, events, and scientific activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, with prior responsibility for managing a sales team or territory.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including coaching, performance evaluation, and team development.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
- Solid analytical and planning skills for forecasting, territory management, and interpreting sales and market data.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical products, industry regulations, and compliance standards within the Egyptian market.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science or Vet .
- Ability to work primarily in the field, with flexibility to travel within the assigned district and attend meetings or events as required.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM or sales reporting tools; strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Professional fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
