Job Description
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, master’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum of 7-10 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 3-5 years in a management or leadership role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations, quality assurance, patient safety, and nursing practices.
- In-depth understanding of CBAHI, JCI Standards and other accreditations
- Proficiency with healthcare management software, electronic health records, and data analysis tools.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and improve clinical outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.
- Monitor and manage the nursing department budget, resources, and staffing levels to optimize efficiency.
- Promote a culture of safety, patient satisfaction, and continuous quality improvement.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making related to nursing services and hospital operations.
- Oversee the implementation of evidence-based practices and innovative care models.
- Handle complex patient care issues and resolve staff or patient concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to nursing activities and departmental performance.
- Represent the nursing department in hospital committees, meetings, and community outreach initiatives.
