DHA Pharmacist – Outpatient – UAE National ONLY

We are expanding our pharmacy team and seeking a talented Emirati Pharmacist to join our outpatient pharmacy.
Role summary:
We are seeking a DHA-licensed Outpatient Pharmacist to support GluCare’s busy clinical operations. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to providing safe, accurate, and high-quality pharmaceutical care. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, supporting clinical teams, educating patients, and maintaining compliance with all DHA regulations and internal standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Outpatient Pharmacy Services:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with DHA regulations.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions.
- Provide professional medication counseling and health advice to patients.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to clarify prescriptions and optimize patient care.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure full compliance with DHA pharmaceutical regulations and GluCare’s internal SOPs.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient and medication records.
- Support pharmacy audits, inspections, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Medication Safety & Quality
- Maintain proper storage, handling, and documentation of all medications.
- Monitor medication inventory, expiry dates, and ensure stock rotation.
- Report and document medication errors or adverse drug reactions according to policy.
- Operational Support
- Collaborate with the Pharmacy Operations Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Assist with inventory management, procurement, and supply chain coordination as needed.
- Support digital health workflows, including EMR documentation and medication-related data entry.
- Patient Experience
- Deliver an exceptional customer-service experience aligned with GluCare’s hybrid-care model.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, device usage (when applicable), and medication adherence.
- Support patient-focused initiatives to improve health outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements Qualifications & Experience
- UAE National (Emirati) with a Family Book — MANDATORY
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Valid DHA Pharmacist License AND/OR DHA eligibility letter
- Experience in outpatient, ambulatory, or hospital pharmacy preferred
- Strong knowledge of DHA regulations, medication safety, and pharmacy best practices
- Excellent communication, patient education, and customer service skills
- Familiarity with EMR systems and digital health workflows is an advantage
