Job Description

The primary responsibility will be to provide therapeutic massage treatments to alleviate pain, promote relaxation, and enhance overall well-being of the patient.

• Conduct assessments of patient’s medical history, symptoms to determine massage treatment plans.
• Provide skilled massage therapy services to patients using a range of techniques.
• Customize massage treatments based on individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as physicians, physical therapists, and chiropractors, to develop integrated treatment plans and ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Educate patients on self-care techniques, exercises, and stretches.

Requirements:

• Based in Dubai, UAE.
• Accredited Diploma or Certificate in Massage therapy
• Associate Degree in Massage Therapy or MSc in Manual therapy
• Certification and/or training programs in various massage techniques such as sports massage, deep tissue massage, or prenatal massage.
• Active DHA License.
• At least 5 years’ experience within a clinic/OPD or appropriate service environment as a Therapist.
• Knowledge of principles, methods and procedures for diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of physical dysfunctions.
• Experience with CPQ and Infection Control processes.
• Experience of Ministry of Health, Dubai Health Authority and Dubai Healthcare City regulations.
