Job Description Summary

The Dental Laboratory Technician performs a variety of tasks, including preparing and assessing case plans, utilizing the lost wax technique and Acrylic Injection system daily. As a major contributor in the removable prosthodontics section, this role maintains production levels and actively seeks to enhance the quality and quantity of prostheses, thereby improving the overall standards of the Dental Laboratory. The Dental Laboratory Technician performs a variety of tasks, including preparing and assessing case plans, utilizing the lost wax technique and Acrylic Injection system daily. As a major contributor in the removable prosthodontics section, this role maintains production levels and actively seeks to enhance the quality and quantity of prostheses, thereby improving the overall standards of the Dental Laboratory.

Operational Roles & Responsibilities

Act as the primary production source for prosthetic work fabricating all types of acrylic appliances full and partial dentures and stints including Simple and moderate restorative cases requiring precision attachments or detailed gnathological biting procedures Operate with minimal supervision receiving occasional checks on production and quality from the Senior Dental Laboratory Technician Perform duties with a high degree of independence due to recognized technical competence as a Dental Technician

Minimum Education Required

Minimum 2 year diploma from a formal course of instruction in general Dental Laboratory Technology, or equivalent.
