The Consultant/Specialist Vascular Surgeon is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with vascular diseases and disorders affecting the arterial, venous, and lymphatic systems. The role involves providing comprehensive clinical care, performing vascular surgical and endovascular procedures within the scope of practice, and ensuring high standards of patient safety, clinical outcomes, and quality of care in accordance with hospital policies and DOH regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Recognized postgraduate qualification in Vascular Surgery, as required for the relevant DOH license category.
  • Valid DOH license as a Consultant or Specialist Vascular Surgeon, or eligibility for the applicable license.
  • Relevant clinical experience in vascular surgery, commensurate with the licensed designation.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing vascular diseases and performing relevant surgical and endovascular procedures within the approved scope of practice.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and patient management skills.
