Position Overview

The Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon will provide expert, comprehensive orthopedic care, specializing in advanced hip surgeries and pediatric cases. The role requires maintaining the highest clinical standards in alignment with the prestigious reputation of Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Excellence: Diagnose, treat, and manage complex musculoskeletal conditions in both adult and pediatric populations.
• Surgical Expertise: Perform advanced surgical procedures, with a strong focus on complex hip reconstructions, replacements, and pediatric orthopedic surgeries.
• Patient Care: Conduct outpatient clinics, inpatient rounds, and provide timely emergency consultations.
• Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to optimize patient outcomes and recovery pathways.
• Compliance: Adhere to the strict clinical protocols, quality assurance standards, and safety guidelines set by the hospital and the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Board Certification: Must hold a Tier 1 Western qualification (e.g., American Board, Canadian Board, UK CCT/CCST, German Facharzt, or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of continuous experience as a Consultant practicing after achieving board certification.
• Licensure: Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon is strictly mandatory.
• Sub-specialization: Proven, verifiable track record in sub-specializing in hip surgeries and pediatric orthopedics.
