Apex Health is seeking for a highly skilled & motivated OBGYN Consultant.

Job Description: The Consultant – Obstetrics and Gynecolgy is reponsible for providing medical care for pregnant women and unborn children as well as women’s sexual and reproductive health, establishing effective patient care plans, and referring patients to the appropriate specialists. The position holder should be highly trained with proven experience of effectively working in an emergency room or urgent care setting.

Requirements:

• OBGYN Board Certified.
• 5-7 years’ experience, within 3 years at governmental or teaching facilities.
• Updated & signed logbook.
• Preferable those with eligible DHP license or evaluation approved.
• Arabic Speakers.

Responsibilities

• Assessing women both pre-post deliveries for all needed diagnosis and treatments.
• Conducting follow-up visits to monitor the patient’s condition.
• Requesting the appropriate medical tests and based on them, following a treatment plan.
• Developing effective patient care plans.
• Referring patients to appropriate specialists.
• Ensuring that patients are stable before transferring them to the proper department for further evaluation.
• Providing instructions for discharge and any relevant paperwork.
• Maintaining patients’ medical records.
• Coordinating with different relevant departments to ensure patients receive the necessary treatment as may be needed.
