Responsibilities

• Interpret and report complex hematopathology cases, including bone marrow biopsies, lymph node pathology, and peripheral blood disorders.
• Integrate morphology, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, cytogenetics, and molecular findings into comprehensive diagnostic reports.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) discussions and provide consultative support to clinicians.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory quality, accreditation, and patient safety standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, teaching, and mentoring of junior staff as required.
• Support the development and standardization of diagnostic protocols in line with international best practices.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with recognized specialist certification in Hematopathology (e.g., CCT/CCST, American Board, or equivalent Tier 1 qualification).
• Eligibility for licensure with relevant UAE health authorities.
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ post-specialization experience in hematopathology, preferably within a tertiary or reference laboratory environment.
• Strong expertise in advanced diagnostic techniques, including flow cytometry and molecular hematopathology.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
