Job Description We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant in Anesthesia to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and effective anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical and medical procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia administration
• Assess patients’ medical history and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
• Manage pain control and post-operative care
• Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care support
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and international standards
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous education

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
• Completion of a recognized residency in Anesthesiology
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Anesthesia
• Valid medical license to practice
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in a tertiary care hospital)
• Strong clinical, decision-making, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in critical care and pain management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
