Job Description
• Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with cancer.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans based on tumour type, stage, patient profile, and treatment goals.
• Manage systemic anti-cancer therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and manage therapy-related complications and adverse effects.
• Provide appropriate supportive and palliative care in coordination with the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate actively in Multidisciplinary Tumour Boards (MDT) and collaborate with surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, and other specialties.
• Maintain high standards of clinical documentation, patient safety, and quality of care.
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and evidence-based oncology practices.
• Stay abreast of emerging oncology therapies, clinical guidelines, and advances in cancer management.
MD / DM / Board Certification / Fellowship or equivalent qualification in Medical Oncology.
• Valid UAE Medical License or Eligibility as applicable.
• Proven experience at Consultant level in Medical Oncology.
• Strong expertise in the management of a broad range of solid tumours and/or hematological malignancies.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Commitment to delivering patient-centred, ethical, and evidence-based cancer care.
