Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Clinic Coordinator to support the smooth and efficient running of our specialist Parkinson’s services. As the first point of contact for patients and families, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and supportive experience from referral to follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient appointments, multidisciplinary clinics, and treatment pathways
- Liaise with consultants, nurses, therapists, and administrative teams to ensure continuity of care
- Provide empathetic and informed support to patients and caregivers
- Maintain accurate records and manage clinic schedules with precision
- Support service development initiatives and quality improvement projects
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in a healthcare coordination or administrative role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic, patient-centered environment
- A genuine interest in neurology and movement disorders is a plus
Responsibilities
King’s College Hospital London, Dubai Parkinson’s, Movement Disorders, Dystonia Research institute, a world renowned tertiary referral centre and only centre of Excellence in UAE is seeking a highly organized and compassionate Clinic Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- To manage clinics from a clerical perspective, liaising with patients, carers and staff of all levels,including medical staff. To be responsible for the efficient administration of outpatient appointments.Â
- From initial referral to patient attendance and finally discharge from clinic. To work closely with team members including nursing, secretarial and medical staff.Â
- To be responsible for the preparation for Outpatient Clinics (including Zoom clinics) in line with consultant guidelines, ď‚· and to ensure that all relevant case notes, x-rays, test results and other information, including data from other hospitals, is available for each patient’s visit.Â
- To ensure all case notes and patient records are maintained in good condition.Â
- Managing both inpatient and outpatient waiting list and filling up clinics accordingly and arrange follow up appointmentsÂ
- Be responsible for ensuring patients clinic letters are sent out in keeping with Trust PolicyÂ
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in a clnica or healthcare coordination role (neurology or movement disorders preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
- Strong IT and record-keeping skills
