Skyline Medical is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Biomedical Service Engineer to join our operations team in the UAE. This position plays a key role in supporting the performance, reliability, and service excellence of medical and dental equipment at client sites across the country.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in dental equipment servicing and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
🔧 Role Overview:
This is a field-based role that involves regular travel to hospitals, clinics, and dental centers. The selected candidate will be responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of biomedical equipment sold or supported by Skyline Medical.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on dental and aesthetic equipment.
Diagnose technical issues on-site or remotely and provide timely, effective solutions.
Document all service visits and ensure accurate reporting for both clients and internal records.
2. Technical Support: Respond to service requests in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
Provide on-site and remote support to minimise equipment downtime.
Maintain clear, professional communication with clients at all times.
3. Project Support: Assist in the setup and commissioning of new clinics, including equipment installation and configuration.
Collaborate with project engineers and managers during site handover and equipment validation.
4. Administration & Compliance: Maintain detailed service logs and compliance checklists.
Report recurring issues, defective equipment, and spare parts requirements.
Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and regulatory guidelines set by Skyline Medical and UAE authorities.
5. General Expectations: Flexibility to work beyond standard hours for urgent cases or project deadlines.
Willingness to travel within the UAE and occasionally to Oman or other GCC countries.
Qualification:
-Degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical field.
-Minimum 2 years of experience in biomedical servicing (experience with dental equipment is preferred).
-Proficiency with diagnostic tools, service documentation, and field repair techniques.
-Familiarity with UAE healthcare regulations and equipment standards.
UAE driving license is preferred.
