Biomedical Engineer
MEDINOVA MEDICAL SUPPLIES LLC is seeking a qualified and motivated Biomedical Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and technical support of a wide range of medical equipment at hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities across the UAE.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused attitude, with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, test, and validate medical equipment at customer sites.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), and emergency repairs.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment faults efficiently.
- Calibrate medical equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and applicable standards.
- Prepare accurate service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support and user training to healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers regarding technical support, spare parts, and warranty claims.
- Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain proper inventory of tools, spare parts, and service consumables.
- Respond promptly to customer service requests and emergency breakdown calls.
- Support equipment demonstrations, installations, commissioning, and acceptance testing.
- Assist the Sales Team by providing technical expertise during customer meetings and product demonstrations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through professional and responsive service.
- Participate in technical training programs to stay current with new technologies and product developments.
- Experience working with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in the installation and maintenance of medical equipment (UAE experience is preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory).
- Salary Based on experience.
