Biomedical Engineer

MEDINOVA MEDICAL SUPPLIES LLC is seeking a qualified and motivated Biomedical Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and technical support of a wide range of medical equipment at hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities across the UAE.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused attitude, with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, test, and validate medical equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), and emergency repairs.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment faults efficiently.
  • Calibrate medical equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and applicable standards.
  • Prepare accurate service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
  • Provide technical support and user training to healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers regarding technical support, spare parts, and warranty claims.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain proper inventory of tools, spare parts, and service consumables.
  • Respond promptly to customer service requests and emergency breakdown calls.
  • Support equipment demonstrations, installations, commissioning, and acceptance testing.
  • Assist the Sales Team by providing technical expertise during customer meetings and product demonstrations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through professional and responsive service.
  • Participate in technical training programs to stay current with new technologies and product developments.
  • Experience working with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in the installation and maintenance of medical equipment (UAE experience is preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory).
  • Salary Based on experience.
