Job Description
A valid DHA licence as an Ayurveda Therapist is required. Only candidates who meet this requirement will be considered.
YOUR ROLE
You will work under the guidance of our Ayurveda doctor, delivering prescribed treatments and supporting patients throughout their care.
Key responsibilities:
• Perform Ayurvedic treatments and Panchakarma therapies according to the doctor’s prescribed treatment plan and within your licensed scope of practice.
• Prepare treatment rooms, oils, materials, and equipment before each session.
• Explain the treatment process clearly and help patients feel comfortable and informed.
• Protect patient privacy and dignity, including appropriate draping throughout treatments.
• Monitor patient comfort during sessions and promptly report any concerns or unexpected reactions to the treating doctor.
• Record treatments accurately and communicate relevant observations to the clinical team.
• Follow infection-control, hygiene, and equipment-cleaning protocols.
• Maintain treatment supplies and report replenishment needs.
• Provide aftercare instructions as directed by the Ayurveda doctor.
• Coordinate with reception and the clinical team to support appointments and continuity of care.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• A recognised qualification in Ayurveda therapy.
• A valid DHA licence as an Ayurveda Therapist.
• Hands-on experience in Ayurvedic treatments and Panchakarma procedures.
• Sound knowledge of treatment preparation, patient positioning, draping, and hygiene practices.
• Previous experience in an Ayurveda clinic, medical centre, or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Ability to follow clinical instructions and recognise when a concern requires the doctor’s attention.
