Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Therapy Administration

  • Perform a wide range of Ayurvedic therapies
  • Preparing herbal compounds required for the therapies
  • Assist with Panchakarma procedures as prescribed by the Ayurvedic doctor.

2. Patient Care & Support

  • Prepare patients before therapy with care and proper explanation of the procedure.
  • Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the treatment.
  • Report any unusual patient responses or conditions to the Ayurveda doctor immediately.
  • Educate patients on post-therapy care and provide general Ayurvedic wellness guidance as instructed.

3. Preparation & Cleanliness

  • Prepare therapy rooms and materials before each session (herbs, oils, equipment).
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the therapy room.
  • Clean and sterilize equipment, massage tables, and other tools after every session.
  • Dispose of therapy waste safely and hygienically.

4. Inventory & Maintenance

  • Monitor usage and stock of Ayurvedic oils, herbs, and consumables
  • Inform the clinic manager or doctor about low stock or expired products.
  • Maintain accurate records of therapies performed and materials used.

5. Coordination & Documentation

  • Follow daily therapy schedules as assigned.
  • Maintain therapy logs and submit records of patient treatments regularly.
  • Coordinate with reception/ Evangelists for therapy appointments and patient queries.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Certification in Ayurvedic Therapy / Panchakarma from a recognized institute.
  • Relevant years of experience in an Ayurvedic clinic
  • Good understanding of Ayurvedic concepts and the purpose of each therapy.
  • Physically fit, with good stamina and strength to perform treatments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a calm, respectful manner
  • Basic knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards.

Work Environment:

  • Clinical setting with therapy rooms and wellness treatment spaces.
  • Standing and physically active work for extended periods.
  • Working hours may include weekends or evenings based on patient needs.
  • Coordination with Housekeeping ensuring the area is clean with good aroma.

  • Willingness to continue learning and adapting to new therapy techniques.
  • Willingness to adapt with the working hours as and when necessary
  • Passion and Commitment to patient-centred care and the principles of Ayurveda.
