Description

The Assistant Nurse provides vital clinical and bedside support to Registered Nurses and medical staff. You will assist in delivering safe, compassionate, and efficient care to adult patients recovering from surgeries or managing acute and chronic medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Clinical Support: Set up patient rooms, prepare examination trays, and assist Registered Nurses with wound dressings or minor procedures.
  • Specimen Collection: Collect and label routine laboratory specimens like urine, stool, or blood glucose measurements.
  • Patient Safety: Maintain clean, organized patient environments and strictly follow hospital infection control guidelines.
  • Documentation: Promptly report changes in patient conditions to the supervising nurse and accurately log basic care inputs.
Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing or a verified Nursing Diploma.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience working in an acute care medical-surgical hospital setup.
  • Skills: Excellent bedside manners, strong team collaboration, and basic life support handling.
  • License: Active DHA Assistant Nurse License or DHA Assistant Nurse Eligibility Letter.
