Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Control of Approval
- Validate the information’s provided by the customer seeking service from HMG.
- Coordinate multi source transaction of service approvals from various insurance companies.
- Check and validates that each proposal/processed document has all the relevant documents required for processing the claims. It also acts as single point of contract to address the issues.
Patient Services
- Assist patients to process the documents within shortest period of time.
- Act as front liner to while receiving the patient, engage the patient with information and will be single point of contact for the patients.
- Contact the insurance companies on behalf of the patients and update the patients on any issues related to their processing of documents.
Coordination
- Coordinate with the clinic, administrative, claims and Billing departments for speedy processing of patient’s documents.
- Act as back up to Business Coordinator in times of crises.
- Acts as a front-liner or central point of contact for all the departments of the hospital relating to all issues related to approval section.
- Participates in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
- Enriches patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
Perform other duties/tasks assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills or abilities.
Requirements
Education/ Professional Qualification
Educational : College Graduate or Diploma Holder
Experience
Minimum One (1) year experience in the same field.
Professional Licensing / Certification / Training
