Admin Assistant (Emirati Talent)

Since its inception in 2010, National Reference Laboratory (NRL) has expanded from a single standalone reference laboratory to a network of 12 state-of-the-art facilities across the United Arab Emirates. NRL provides world-class diagnostic services to the M42 network and partners with more than 250 clients from a wide range of market segments, including private and government hospitals, medical centers and clinics, corporate organizations, and other reference laboratories.

The Admin Assistant supports the day-to-day administrative operations within the facility, ensuring smooth coordination between departments, patients, and external stakeholders. The role plays a key part in managing appointments, handling documentation, and providing general administrative support to enhance operational efficiency and patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily office operations, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination tasks
  • Assist in managing patient appointments, referrals, and communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure smooth patient flow and service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and databases for patient and administrative data
  • Assist in organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and recording minutes
  • Support inventory management of office supplies and coordinate with suppliers as needed
  • Assist in handling patient and family inquiries, ensuring a professional and supportive experience
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support, including reports, correspondence, and ad-hoc tasks

Qualifications

Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Diploma in Hospitality Management or relevant field (Bachelor’s degree is an advantage)

2-3 years of administrative experience, preferably within a healthcare setting

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general administrative tools
