In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we designed, built, and launched the UAE’s first dedicated COVID-19 detection laboratory in just 15 days. This state-of-the-art lab can process tens of thousands of RT-PCR tests daily and was the first facility of its scale to operate outside China. Our lab demonstrates G42’s commitment to supporting the UAE government in its fight against COVID-19.

With a team of over 150 skilled lab and quality experts, we provide some of the fastest turnaround times in the region—just 2 hours for certain tests. Located in the sustainable city of Masdar, Biogenix is redefining what a reference laboratory can be.

Our lab is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including fully automated extractors, real-time PCR systems, liquid handlers, immunoassay analyzers, and chemistry and hematology analyzers. Notably, Biogenix was the first lab in the UAE to achieve ISO 15189 accreditation for COVID-19 testing.
