Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • – Conducting thorough physical assessments of animals to identify mobility issues and rehabilitation needs
  • – Developing and implementing effective treatment plans that incorporate various physiotherapy modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and electrotherapy
  • – Overseeing the rehabilitation process and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on animal progress
  • – Collaborating with veterinarians and other veterinary professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • – Educating pet owners about their animal’s treatment plans, rehabilitation strategies, and the importance of preventive care
  • – Maintaining detailed records of patient assessments, treatments administered, and progress updates
  • – Staying updated on best practices and advances in veterinary physiotherapy to continuously enhance services provided

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy or a related field
  • Valid certification and license to practice as a Veterinary Physiotherapist
  • Previous experience in veterinary physiotherapy is highly desirable
  • Deep understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with pet owners and care teams
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to animal care
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborate effectively with other professionals
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records and reports
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional growth in veterinary care and physiotherapy practices
