Job Description

A Specialist Physician in General Medicine (Inpatient) provides medical care to hospitalised adult patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Responsibilities include assessing patients on admission, conducting clinical examinations, reviewing investigations, developing and managing treatment plans, monitoring patients’ progress, and coordinating care with other medical specialists and healthcare teams. The physician also manages medical complications, maintains accurate patient records, and ensures safe, effective, and continuous inpatient care.

Qualification and Experience:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognised institution.
• Postgraduate specialist qualification in General Medicine or Internal Medicine, such as MD, DNB, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Valid DHA, DOH, or MOH licence, or eligibility for licensure, depending on the UAE emirate.
• Relevant clinical experience in general medicine, preferably in an inpatient or hospital setting.
• Experience managing acute medical conditions, complex cases, and hospitalised patients.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills.
