Imperial College London Diabetes & Endocrine Centre (ICLDEC) is a global leader in diabetes and endocrine treatment, education and research. Established in 2006 by Mubadala in partnership with Restricted the UK’s Imperial College London, the Centre specializes in treating all types of diabetes and endocrine disorders, as well as focusing on diabetes research, training, and public health awareness. The Centre, which operates four branches across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra, has gained international recognition for its holistic approach to the treatment of diabetes and related complications that enables patients to receive the full spectrum of care in one place.

ICLDEC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Pediatrician to join our multidisciplinary care team. This role requires strong clinical expertise across inpatient and outpatient pediatric care, with the ability to support complex pediatric cases within a specialized endocrinology and diabetes environment. The ideal candidate will bring excellent clinical judgement, patient‑centered care, and a commitment to high medical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric care across outpatient settings.
  • Support early diagnosis, management, and follow-up for general pediatric and endocrine-related cases.
  • Participate in the center’s on-call rota, ensuring continuous and safe medical coverage.
  • Collaborate closely with endocrinologists, diabetes educators, nurses, and allied health professionals.
  • Contribute to clinical quality, patient education, and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

  • Specialist Pediatrician with valid board certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience (or strong senior experience in pediatric outpatient care).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • DOH licensure or eligibility.
