Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital Dubai is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist in Critical Care Medicine. You will manage critically ill patients in our state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The role requires advanced clinical expertise, rapid decision-making skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based treatment and ensure the highest standards of patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients with life-threatening conditions.
• Manage advanced life support systems and mechanical ventilation.
• Perform invasive procedures including central lines and intubations.
• Lead the ICU multidisciplinary rounds and care planning.
• Coordinate care with surgical, medical, and diagnostic specialties.
• Respond immediately to hospital codes and medical emergencies.
• Maintain accurate, real-time electronic medical records (EMR).
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical audit programs.
• Educate and support residents, nurses, and allied health staff.
• Communicate prognosis and treatment plans clearly to families.

Requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience

• MD, MBBS, or equivalent recognized medical degree.
• Completion of a recognized Higher Residency in Critical Care.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience post-residency certification.
• Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as a Critical Care Specialist.
• Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

• Expertise in hemodynamic monitoring and organ support therapies.
• Strong leadership capabilities under high-pressure clinical scenarios.
• Exceptional communication skills for patient and family interactions.
• Proficiency in medical software and clinical documentation.
