Quttainah Specialized Hospital is the largest specialized cosmetic surgery hospital in the Middle East, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The hospital aims to provide advanced and innovative healthcare to UAE and neighboring Gulf countries, focusing on expert care and exceptional results in cosmetic medicine and surgery.

*Key Responsibilities:*

1. *Patient Evaluation:*

– Assess patients’ medical history, allergies, and current health status to determine the most appropriate anesthesia plan.

– Conduct preoperative consultations, including discussing risks and benefits of anesthesia options with patients.

2. *Anesthesia Administration:*

– Administer various types of anesthesia (local, regional, or general) to patients undergoing surgical or medical procedures.

– Monitor patients’ vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels) during surgery to ensure stability.

3. *Pain Management:*

– Provide pain management services, including epidural injections, nerve blocks, and postoperative pain control.

– Develop and implement pain management plans for patients with chronic pain or those recovering from surgery.

4. *Patient Monitoring:*

– Monitor patients during surgery to ensure they remain safe, adjusting anesthesia levels as needed.

– Manage any complications that may arise during the procedure, such as adverse reactions to anesthesia.

5. *Postoperative Care:*

– Oversee patient recovery from anesthesia in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).

– Manage postoperative pain and monitor patients as they regain consciousness.

– Address any complications that may arise after surgery.

6. *Collaboration:*

– Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care throughout the surgical process.

– Communicate effectively with surgical teams to manage patient care.

7. *Documentation:*

– Maintain detailed records of anesthesia administration, patient responses, and any complications that arise.

– Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and medical standards.

* Qualifications:*

– *Education:* Medical degree (MD or DO) with a specialization in anesthesiology.

– *Licensure:* Board certification in anesthesiology; state medical license, DHA License – Mandatory

– *Experience:* Residency in anesthesiology; additional fellowship training for specialized fields (e.g., pediatric anesthesiology) is a plus.

– *Skills:*

– Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and medications.

– Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.

– Ability to work under pressure in high-stress environments.

– Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
