Company Description Physioplus Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Center – Dubai is a specialized facility providing comprehensive care for children, adults, and older persons. The center treats a wide range of conditions related to physiotherapy, including pre- and post-surgery rehabilitation and neurorehabilitation. Services also extend to occupational therapy, speech therapy, and behavior/ABA therapy, offering a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The team works collaboratively to design individualized treatment plans focused on functional recovery, independence, and improved quality of life for every client.

Role Description The FEMALE Senior Physiotherapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role involves assessing patients, developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans, and providing manual therapy, exercise therapy, and rehabilitation programs across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. The Senior Physiotherapist will collaborate closely with occupational therapists, speech therapists, and behavior/ABA specialists to deliver integrated care, track progress, and adjust interventions as needed. Responsibilities include supervising junior staff, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, and participating in case conferences and quality improvement initiatives. The role also requires adherence to local regulatory standards, clinic protocols, and high professional and ethical practice in all patient interactions.

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical expertise in physiotherapy assessment, manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation for orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical conditions.
  • Experience working with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, including complex neurorehabilitation and multidisciplinary care.
  • Skills in clinical documentation, case management, and treatment planning, with the ability to prioritize and manage a varied caseload.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and educating patients and caregivers.
  • Leadership abilities to mentor junior physiotherapists and support staff, including supervision, feedback, and skill development.
  • Relevant degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution and eligibility for professional licensing/registration in the United Arab Emirates.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
  • Previous experience in a rehabilitation center or hospital setting in Dubai or the wider GCC region is an advantage; proficiency in English required, additional languages are beneficial.
