The Business Development (Insurance Sales Specialist) is responsible for directly selling all insurance lines to corporate accounts, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and individual clients. This role plays a key part in achieving the company’s sales objectives through the acquisition of new clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.
🌟Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve the assigned target of insured lives per year in alignment with company objectives.
- Identify and qualify potential clients through diverse databases, directories, and referrals.
- Continuously develop and update a personal prospect database to ensure consistent lead flow.
- Sell insurance products using face-to-face consultative selling techniques.
- Ensure the timely delivery of all required documents and follow-up materials.
- Generate leads and referrals from each customer visit.
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers to schedule appointments and meetings.
- Represent the company at events and promotional activities to enhance visibility and attract new clients.
- Prepare and submit daily sales reports to the line manager.
🌟Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, Biotechnology or a related field.
- Prior experience in insurance is a plus.
- Fresh Graduates are welcomed to apply.
- Very good command of written and spoken English.
- Strong self-confidence and goal-oriented mindset.
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build client relationships and close deals.
