Job Description
The Sales & Collection Representative is responsible for executing sales and collection activities within the assigned territory. This includes order taking, merchandising, monitoring short-expiry products, reallocating nearly expired goods, and collecting payments for pharmaceutical and healthcare products.
The role involves building strong relationships with customers, promoting products, achieving sales and collection targets, and ensuring effective management of receivables while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products while providing product information and samples when required.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to support business growth.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and collection targets within the assigned territory.
- Generate and follow up on sales leads and referrals resulting from field activities.
- Monitor stock levels and product expiry dates, manage returns of short-expiry items, and coordinate with the promotion team.
- Ensure continuous introduction of new products to existing customers based on market needs.
- Follow up on accounts receivable and ensure timely collection in line with agreed payment terms.
- Evaluate customer creditworthiness and coordinate on financial matters such as bank deposits, credit notes, and reconciliations.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare sales forecasts and periodic reports on activities, performance, and targets.
- Maintain accurate and updated customer records and ensure confidentiality of company information.
- Participate in sales meetings and perform any additional duties as required by management
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree
- Minimum two years’ experience in similar field.
