Role Description The Radiology Technician will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to support cardiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals in the assessment and treatment of cardiac conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating radiologic equipment, preparing patients for imaging exams, following physician orders, and ensuring accurate, high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment planning. The role also involves maintaining radiation safety protocols, documenting procedures, and collaborating with medical and nursing teams to deliver efficient and respectful patient care. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, Egypt, requiring consistent presence in the clinical environment and adherence to hospital policies and standards.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong expertise in Radiologic Technology and Radiology, with practical experience in diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Candidates should possess thorough knowledge of Radiation Safety and related best practices to protect patients, staff, and themselves.
  • Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Medicine, particularly in cardiology-related imaging, to understand clinical indications and workflows.
  • Candidates should possess relevant professional registration or eligibility, such as American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent recognized certification.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot radiologic imaging equipment and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail, accurate documentation skills, and commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical practice.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, or on-call, as required by clinical operations.
  • Previous experience in a cardiac or hospital setting is an advantage.
