Healthpoint is seeking a skilled and patient‑focused Radiography Technologist with experience in General Radiography and exposure to Operating Theatre (OT) Fluoroscopy and Special Procedures. This role is responsible for operating a range of medical imaging techniques such as X‑rays, MRI, CT scans, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy to support the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general radiography examinations in accordance with physician orders, departmental protocols, and clinical indications.
  • Provide fluoroscopy support in the Operating Theatre, assisting during special procedures and surgical interventions as required.
  • Operate and maintain radiographic and fluoroscopy equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal image quality.
  • Position patients accurately and explain procedures clearly to promote patient comfort, cooperation, and safety.
  • Adhere strictly to radiation safety standards, ensuring radiation exposure is kept As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA).
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing teams to support smooth procedural workflows.
  • Maintain accurate imaging documentation, radiation dose records, and EMR updates in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, occupational health & safety, and quality assurance standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development, keeping up to date with imaging technology and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Dploma in Radiography, Radiologic Technology, Medical/Diagnostic Imaging from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 2 years of post‑qualification experience in General Radiography
  • Experience or exposure to OT Fluoroscopy and Special Procedures is required / strongly preferred
  • Valid DOH or DHA license (or DOH eligibility); with valid Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Strong knowledge of radiation protection, imaging protocols, and patient safety standards
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and radiology systems
