The Radiography Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic imaging procedures as per physician and radiologist requests.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure correct patient positioning to obtain high‑quality diagnostic images.
- Adhere strictly to radiation safety and ALARA principles.
- Explain procedures clearly to patients and provide reassurance when needed.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical teams to support accurate diagnosis.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with DOH/FANR and organizational policies.
- Participate in quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Radiology Technology, or Medical/Diagnostic Imaging.
- Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience in general radiology.
- Valid DOH license or eligibility to obtain.
