Vet Alliance Group, is seeking a Veterinary Imaging Technician to join our expanding Diagnostic Imaging team in Dubai.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Diagnostic Radiographer or Medical Imaging Professional who iscurrently working in the UAE and has a minimum of 2 years of UAE experience in diagnostic imaging. Candidates with expertise in digital radiography and CT imaging are encouraged to apply. Experience with MRI is an advantage but is not essential, as veterinary specific training and ongoing support will be provided.
Working alongside veterinary specialists, nurses, and clinicians, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring exceptional patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high quality digital radiography and CT examinations.
- Prepare, position, and support animal patients during imaging procedures.
- Operate CT equipment, including scan acquisition and image reconstruction.
- Ensure excellent image quality while minimizing repeat exposures.
- Upload and manage imaging studies using digital imaging systems (PACS/RIS).
- Maintain radiation safety standards and quality assurance procedures.
- Carry out routine equipment checks and report technical issues.
- Collaborate with veterinary specialists, nurses, and the wider clinical team.
- Participate in continuous professional development and veterinary imaging training.
What We’re Looking For :-
Essential Requirements
- Recognized qualification in Diagnostic Radiography, Medical Imaging, or an equivalent discipline.
- Hands on experience in digital radiography and CT imaging.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging quality assurance.
- Excellent communication, organization, and record keeping skills.
- Willingness to learn veterinary imaging techniques and work with animal patients.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Desirable
- Experience in a hospital, emergency, or specialist imaging setting.
- Experience with contrast enhanced CT studies.
- Familiarity with PACS, RIS, or equivalent imaging systems.
- MRI experience (preferred but not essential).
- Previous veterinary or animal handling experience (preferred but not essential).
- Current professional registration (where applicable).
