Capital Health Screening Centre (CHSC) is a dedicated health screening provider in Abu Dhabi, offering efficient and streamlined medical screenings for individuals and organizations. With four branches across Abu Dhabi, Musaffah, Al Ain, and Dhannah City, CHSC provides comprehensive services including residency visa medicals, occupational health certificates, and eligibility assessments for pension and benefits. Complementing its fixed-site facilities, CHSC also operates four fully equipped mobile screening units that deliver pre-employment and occupational health services directly at workplaces, ensuring convenience, accuracy, and speed in every screening experience.
The Radiographer is responsible for performing MRI and CT procedures in alignment with M42 and DOH/DHA policies and standards. This role ensures accurate imaging, optimal patient care, and supports the Radiology team in providing high-quality diagnostic services across the facility. The Radiographer will operate and maintain imaging equipment, liaise with clinical teams, and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assess patients for MRI/CT procedures, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
- Operate radiographic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
- Review patient information and imaging requirements, liaising with physicians and clinical teams for optimal imaging outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of all procedures, images, and patient interactions in RIS/PACS systems.
- Conduct routine quality checks, troubleshoot imaging equipment, and coordinate maintenance when required.
- Provide patient education and ensure cooperation during procedures.
- Participate in departmental training, quality improvement programs, and continuous professional development activities.
- Support supervision and guidance for junior staff, sharing best practices and providing feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Radiology Technology, or Medical/Diagnostic Imaging (Diploma accepted in relevant cases).
- Minimum 1-2 years post-qualification experience in diagnostic imaging (MRI/CT) in a clinical setting.
- DOH/DHA Medical License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS/PALS as applicable.
- Strong knowledge of MRI/CT radiography procedures, imaging principles, and patient care.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact sensitively with patients and clinical teams.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in a JCI-accredited or large hospital setting.
- Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems and quality assurance programs.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic.
