Job purpose:
To be responsible for the management of the medical offering of GIG UAE through setting the strategy of the Network of medical providers in order to achieve GIG financial goals and service aspirations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze and maintain GIG -UAE Medical providers Network & healthcare providers position as well as market insights about the competitive landscape in order to identify potential transformational opportunities to improve GIG Gulf offering
- Promote, adapt and host wellness activities through key Medical partners in alignment with EB teams
- Establish and maintain governance in relation to a range of transformational topics within the Medical Operation and other Services areas
- Review the existing and renewed contracts to identify areas of improvement on commercial terms and operational efficiency and provide his /her recommendation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and internal functional requirements.
- Support exceptionally regulators, clients, and members on Medically related relevant escalations
- Pro-actively innovate within the UAE Network and Offering function, and collaborate across various EB functions in order to drive efficiencies within the area
- Managing issues and complaints with Network Providers.
- Assist in managing the Negotiation of the reconciliation with the providers to achieve the set targets.
- Develop and execute business improvement plans in collaboration with Senior Sales Manager -EB and Senior Providers Relations Manager-Gulf oriented to streamline operational processes through synergies, automation, and efficiency
- Prepare presentations and conduct education sessions with the medical staff of the identified providers.
- Support the FWA team by conducting the necessary audits.
- Other activities as directed by the Senior Sales Manager -EB and Senior Providers Relations Manager-Gulf
Operational & Technical Responsibilities:
- Mange the operational aspects and Data Analytics & reporting of the department
- Established service metrics targets, KPI’s SLA’s, in a quality led, regulatory compliant environment
- Support and sponsor system integrations and standardize coding with providers as per regularity framework
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of in the health insurance / TPA and/or experience in relationship management / medical operations / procurement (medical / health related industries)
- Strategic & Analytical thinking
- Strong Negotiation skills
- Educated to degree level or appropriate professional qualification
- Strong communication (verbal & written), presentation and interpersonal skills
- Solution and delivery focused
