Your role
As our Professional Medical Representative, you will be delivering expected sales performance and beyond in your territories through transferring a strong value proposition for LEO brands to the stakeholders assigned.
Some of the key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
Securing Sales Success:
- Aim to achieve or exceed sales targets within a defined territory, through existing and potential customers.
- Implement a territory sales plan in line with the regional sales strategy and supervisor approval.
- Monitor territory sales performance and take corrective actions, with approval, to ensure objectives and forecasted results are met.
- Facilitate the introduction of newly launched and key products to clients
Territory Planning:
- Plan work schedule and timetables on a weekly and monthly basis, in collaboration with the area sales team or area sales manager.
- Take ownership of a designated territory and strategize how and when to target healthcare professionals, in accordance with visiting cycle plans.
- Effectively manage the territory by targeting clients, determining visit frequency, delivering key messages, and implementing programs.
- Stay informed about market and competitor activity to identify business opportunities within the territory.
- Develop a Territory Business Plan based on an agreed action plan and request necessary resources for optimal sales impact.
- Participate in promotional activity programs to increase product awareness in the market.
Customer Focus:
- Deliver presentations to doctors, practice staff, nurses, and pharmacists, either in medical settings during the day or at local venues in the evenings.
- Deliver key promotional messages within approved detail aids and in line with the agreed action plan.
- Organize conferences for doctors and other medical staff.
- Update territory customer segmentation classification, database, and call records regularly.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administration staff.
Reporting:
- Submit Daily Coverage Reports (CRM) and Monthly reports, commenting on deviations from the Business Plan and outlining intended actions to align performance with objectives.
Your Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical studies, and relevant industry experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in the UAE market is a must
- Dermatology experience is preferred
- Good understanding of private and tender market challenges and opportunities.
