1 – Job Purpose
- Drive sustainable sales growth and clinical adoption of the assigned wound care portfolio within designated accounts by combining consultative selling, product expertise, customer education, account execution, and accurate market intelligence.
- Act as the primary clinical-commercial contact for healthcare professionals, ensuring safe, compliant, and value-based use of the company’s solutions.
2 – Job Specification
Required Educational Level:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related healthcare field.
Required Experience:
- 2-3 years of successful sales or clinical-commercial experience in medical devices, wound care, consumables, or a related healthcare sector.
- Fresh graduates with strong clinical exposure may be considered for entry-level roles where a structured development program is available.
Required Abilities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Sound understanding of wound assessment, wound bed preparation, infection prevention, exudate management, pressure injury prevention, and appropriate dressing selection.
- Consultative selling, objection handling, negotiation, territory planning, and closing skills.
- Ability to conduct product demonstrations, clinical education, in-service training, and follow-up evaluations.
- Knowledge of hospital decision-making, procurement pathways, tenders, and key stakeholders including clinicians, infection control, supply chain, and procurement.
- Ability to interpret sales data, maintain CRM discipline, forecast accurately, and prioritize opportunities.
- High integrity, teamwork, customer focus, accountability, learning agility, and professional presentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems; willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Required Languages:
- English – professional working proficiency.
- Arabic – strongly preferred for customer-facing effectiveness in Saudi Arabia.
3 – Communication Channels
Internal Communication:
- Area Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, Wound Care Business Unit Director, Marketing, Clinical / Medical Education, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, Regulatory, Quality, and Tender teams.
External Communication:
- Physicians, nurses, wound care teams, infection prevention teams, pharmacists, procurement and supply chain teams, hospital leadership, distributors, and other relevant stakeholders.
4 – Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned sales, growth, focus-product, new-account, and activity targets in line with the approved territory plan.
- Build and maintain an account map identifying clinical users, decision makers, influencers, procurement stakeholders, current usage, competition, and growth opportunities.
- Execute a disciplined call plan and conduct high-quality customer visits, product presentations, demonstrations, evaluations, conversions, and post-conversion follow-up.
- Provide accurate product and clinical information within approved claims and immediately escalate adverse events, product complaints, or compliance concerns according to company procedures.
- Develop clinical champions and long-term customer relationships through education, responsiveness, and measurable value delivery.
- Support tenders, quotations, product listings, trials, samples, and required documentation in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, contracts, customer feedback, and market trends; submit timely and actionable market intelligence.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity stages, monthly forecasts, visit reports, and account action plans.
- Coordinate with supply chain and customer service to support product availability, delivery, and issue resolution while avoiding unauthorized commitments.
- Participate in conferences, workshops, launches, and educational events and complete all required training and certification.
- Manage samples, demonstration stock, company assets, and expenses responsibly and in compliance with policy.
- Collaborate across territories and functions, share best practices, and contribute positively to team objectives.
