Product Specialist

Job Description

This position will be responsible for designing and configuring products in the core system (MedNext+) related to MedNet business portfolio in line with regulatory requirements and will be accountable to deliver end user trainings related to product features and functionality of MedNext+.

Your Role:

  • Product Design:
  • Act as the principal designer/developer of products and their subsystems utilizing a thorough understanding of the table of benefits.
  • Work in co-ordination with the production department to understand product structure to design it on MedNext+.
  • Identify and recommend system optimization and enhancements.
  • Recommends, designs and implements business process improvements which have significant impact on the productivity and effectiveness of all functional areas.
  • Product Testing:
  • Responsible for testing the new system / product feature releases and the related documentation in line with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Test designed reports along and end user clients (Claims, Network, medical, IT, Finance, Production departments).
  • Product Training:
  • Orient and train all end users (employees from Claims, Network, medical, medical, IT, Finance, Production departments) post designing of the product in the system.
  • Business Reporting
  • Understand reporting requirements from the production and Data analytics team and develop reports within set turnaround times.
  • Support production departments during lean phases.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in product configurations.
  • Analytical and Logical thinking ability – Job demands analyzing information and using logic to address work related issues.
  • Good communication & presentation skills to orient other users.
  • Ability to perform detailed analysis of products.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with and experience in leading health insurance industry and ability to transform business requirements into IT.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Proven track record of success in challenging the status quo, implementing new ideas and designs with practical orientation.
  • Ability to write, understand and modify SQL queries and scriptsMarket Intelligence & Competitive Analysis – Expertise in identifying trends and adjusting strategies accordingly.
