Job Description
.Maintain order and stock master records, ensure accurate records of purchases, pricing, and contracts.
- Procure all required pharmaceutical items, follow up for delivers, ensures no late deliveries with suppliers.
- Conduct demand forecasting and demand planning.
- Negotiate prices and contract terms with vendors to secure the best possible deals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Ensuring that the integrity of Data within ERP and EMR Systems is up to par with the current agreement with vendors, Inventory levels, current price, vendor sources etc.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, including supply disruptions, product recalls, and quality issues.
- Collaborate with warehouse management to resolve inventory and delivery discrepancies.
- Stay up to date with changing regulations and requirements in the healthcare industry, especially those related to pharmaceuticals.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required.
- Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization.
- Implement inventory control and management systems to prevent product expiry.
Qualifications
.
- Bachelor’s Degree – Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- 3-5 years’ experience in relevant role or relevant field of pharmacy experience in UAE will be an advantage
