Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced PICU Consultant to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering advanced, evidence-based critical care to infants and children in a high-acuity hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill pediatric patients in PICU
• Lead clinical decision-making and manage complex critical cases
• Supervise and support residents, specialists, and nursing staff
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and treatment planning
• Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical governance initiatives
• Support medical education and training activities

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Board-certified in Pediatrics with subspecialty certification in Pediatric Critical Care
• Valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) classification as Consultant
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care
• Strong expertise in mechanical ventilation and advanced life support
• Valid PALS certification
• Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
