Job Description

Responsibilities:

● Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical condition, including evaluating their strength, range of motion, balance, and coordination.

● Develop individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings and the patient’s specific needs and goals.

● Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, and other modalities, to improve patients’ physical function and reduce pain.

● Monitor and evaluate patients’ progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

● Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-management techniques, and exercises they can perform at home to support their recovery.

● Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients.

● Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

● Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices, attending relevant conferences, workshops, and continuing education programs.

● Demonstrate strong communication skills when interacting with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals, providing clear explanations, instructions, and support throughout the treatment process.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.

● Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physiotherapist, preferably in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting.

● Strong knowledge and practical experience in differential diagnosis and evidence-based treatment approaches.

● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively explain complex concepts to patients and colleagues.

● Proven ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and patient goals.

● Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques.

● Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

● Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up to date with the latest research and advancements in the field.

● Valid professional license or registration as a Physiotherapist in Saudi Arabia.
