Job Description

The Pediatric Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating infants, children, and adolescents with physical, developmental, or neurological conditions. The role focuses on improving mobility, strength, coordination, and overall functional independence in a child-friendly and family-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of pediatric patients.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and goals.
  • Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
  • Treat conditions such as:
  • Developmental delays
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Genetic disorders
  • Musculoskeletal conditions
  • Neurological disorders
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation cases
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and proper handling techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams (SLP, OT, psychologists, pediatricians).
