Role Description The Pharmacy Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo. This role oversees daily branch operations, including managing pharmacy staff, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring accurate dispensing of medications and medical supplies. The Branch Manager is responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, implementing company policies, and upholding high standards of customer service. Day-to-day tasks include supervising workflow, optimizing schedules, resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with suppliers, and tracking branch performance metrics. The role also involves supporting sales of cosmetics and makeup products, promoting health services, and fostering a safe, organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise, coach, and motivate staff.
- Experience in pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing workflows, inventory management, and handling medical equipment.
- Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to address inquiries, manage complaints, and build trust with diverse customers.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, time management, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of pharmacy regulations, health and safety standards, and basic pharmaceutical terminology.
- Ability to work full time on-site in Cairo and maintain flexible availability for a 24/7 service environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy ; valid professional licensure where required.
- Previous experience as a pharmacist or in a supervisory role in retail or hospital pharmacy is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and pharmacy management software; basic computer literacy (e.g., MS Office).
- Familiarity with cosmetics and personal care products and ability to guide customers on appropriate choices is a plus.
