The Pharmacist is responsible for performing the daily pharmaceutical operational activities including but not limited to preparing, compounding and dispensing medication to patients in adherence to prescriptions issued by physicians and in line with M42 and DOH policies, procedures, guidelines and standards. Responsibilities

• Perform pharmaceutical operations including medication preparation, verification, compounding, packaging, labeling, dispensing, and delivery in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Review and interpret physicians’ prescriptions and medication orders, identifying potential drug interactions and therapeutic incompatibilities.
• Verify medication orders, PBM approvals, billing charges, and pharmaceutical preparations to ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient medication records and pharmacy documentation in a timely and confidential manner.
• Support inventory management, including controlled drug monitoring, stock control, and the removal of expired or damaged medications.
• Participate in clinical pharmacy programs, quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and patient safety projects.
• Provide medication counseling and education to patients and their families while ensuring adherence to infection prevention and safety protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, support pharmacy logistics, communicate regulatory requirements, and uphold M42 values through professional, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Pharmacy
• Active UAE License as Pharmacist
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, medication management, and patient safety practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
