About the role:
We are seeking a highly qualified Pediatric Consultant to join our Pediatrics Department. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered, evidence-based pediatric care while ensuring compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards. The Pediatric Consultant will lead clinical excellence, supervise junior physicians, and contribute to continuous improvement in pediatric healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, ethical, and comprehensive pediatric care to patients.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage pediatric cases efficiently and safely.
- Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with patient care.
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance, quality, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records using the EMR system.
- Participate in continuous professional development and medical education.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior physicians and trainees.
- Participate in academic, training, and clinical audit activities.
- Promote patient engagement, satisfaction, and family-centered care.
- Contribute to departmental improvement initiatives and service development.
Education:
- Basic Medical Degree with completion of higher training (Fellowship / Board / Diploma).
- Recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience at Consultant level in Pediatrics.
Licensing & Certification:
- Eligible for SCFHS registration.
- Valid life support certifications (BLS, PALS, NRP).
- Board Certification / CCT / CCST or equivalent recognized by SCFHS.

- Proficiency in EMR systems.
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
