Job Description

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Valid Nursing License – DOH
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
• Experience in circulating and/or scrub nursing
• Current BLS certification (ACLS, PALS preferred)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures
• Perform preoperative patient assessments and verify surgical readiness
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection prevention protocols
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures
• Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to intraoperative changes
• Complete accurate nursing documentation and perioperative records
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
