Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct biopsies to evaluate whether growths or tumors are malignant
- Administer local, regional, or general anesthesia prior to surgical procedures
- Perform surgical removal of tumors, abnormal growths, and impacted wisdom teeth
- Realign and adjust jaw structures to improve functionality, comfort, and symmetry
- Perform reconstructive surgeries to address injuries, congenital defects, and structural abnormalities
- Prepare patients for dental implant procedures and ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to create tailored treatment plans
- Communicate diagnoses and available treatment options effectively to patients
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry
- Active state licensure to practice as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
- Demonstrated expertise in oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
- Ability to remain composed and focused in demanding situations
- Strong physical stamina to stand for extended durations
- Proficient analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
