We are searching for an Officer, Quality and Patient Safety to join our team at Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital in Al Batayeh, Sharjah. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across our organization. This position is at the forefront of ensuring regulatory readiness, advancing quality initiatives, and championing patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to the quality improvement and patient safety program to achieve organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., UAE DOH, DHA, Joint Commission International).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop performance measurement processes and action plans.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and guide evidence-based decision-making.
  • Foster a culture of safety through training, education, and proactive risk management initiatives.
  • Lead PSDA improvement projects across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years in healthcare quality and patient safety, with experience in Joint Commission International-accredited facilities.
  • Proficiency in quality improvement principles, regulatory compliance, data analysis, and project management.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or equivalent (or within 12 months of hire).
