Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, patient-centric Consultant or Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynecology to join our expanding Women’s Health division at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital Dubai. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive women’s healthcare services, including antenatal care, high-risk pregnancy management, gynecological surgeries, and outpatient consultations, while adhering to the highest international standards of clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care for women across all stages of life (adolescence, reproductive, menopause).

Manage low- and high-risk obstetric cases, including labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Perform gynecological surgeries (laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and open procedures) as per clinical privilege.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests (ultrasound, lab work, biopsies) and prescribe treatments.

Educate patients on family planning, fertility, hormonal disorders, and cancer screening.

Collaborate with neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary care.

Maintain accurate medical records and comply with DHA, JCI, and hospital policies.

Participate in on-call roster for obstetric emergencies.

Requirements

Medical degree (MBBS/MD) plus recognized postgraduate specialization (e.g. American Board, UK CCT, Jordanian Board, or equivalent).

Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as an OBGYNE (post-specialization).

DHA license or valid DHA eligibility letter is mandatory (active DHA preferred).

Proven experience in managing obstetrical emergencies and gynecological surgeries.

Excellent English communication skills (Arabic is a plus).
