Two Vacancies: Consultant OB/GYN & Senior Registrar OB/GYN

Makkah Medical Center is expanding its Obstetrics & Gynecology team to deliver safe, comprehensive care for mother and baby.

Position 1: Consultant OB/GYN — Requirements

• MBBS / MD from a recognized medical school
• Valid Consultant OB/GYN classification and registration from SCFHS
• Board certification (Saudi / Arab / American / Canadian / British) or accredited fellowship in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Proficiency in cesarean sections, instrumental deliveries, and management of high-risk pregnancies
• Competence in gynecological laparoscopy and hysteroscopy
• Experience managing obstetric emergencies (postpartum hemorrhage, pre-eclampsia, shoulder dystocia)
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification
• Experience supervising registrars and residents and leading a clinical team
• Familiarity with CBAHI / JCI standards and maternal safety protocols
• Competent use of EMR systems and accurate clinical documentation
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
• Eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia (transferable iqama for non-Saudi applicants)

Position 2: Senior Registrar OB/GYN — Requirements

• MBBS / MD from a recognized medical school
• Valid Senior Registrar OB/GYN classification and registration from SCFHS
• Completed residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology (board or equivalent)
• Ability to independently manage normal deliveries and assist in / perform cesarean sections
• Ability to manage obstetric and gynecological emergencies under consultant supervision
• Experience in antenatal clinics, labor and delivery, and inpatient ward coverage
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification
• Willingness to work a rotating on-call and night shift schedule
• Competent use of EMR systems and accurate clinical documentation
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
• Eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia (transferable iqama for non-Saudi applicants)
